Enables cutting and grinding in one step – with a disc thickness of 1.9 mm.
Machine suitability:
The XTK69 MULTI CROSS combination disc is suitable for freehand use with all angle grinders in any performance class (including low-power and battery-powered machines).
Material suitability:
The XTK69 MULTI CROSS has been designed for use on stainless steel (SST, Inox), e.g. 1.4031 (X5CrNi18-10 or 304), steel (carbon steel – also termed structural steel, St37, S235JR and 1.0037), cast steel and cast iron (e.g. ductile or grey cast iron, etc.), as well as titanium, concrete products, screed, sand-lime brick, natural stone and marble, and aluminium or other non-ferrous metals such as copper, brass, bronze, etc.
Structure and production:
The combination disc uses a high-quality mix of silicon carbide (SiC) and corundum, and 3 full-coverage glass cloth layers. For this disc, the minimum side load as defined by EN 12413 and oSa is 290 N with grinding disc approval. The expiry date (three years) is embossed in the disc hole ring. Consistently high quality is ensured by sophisticated in-process controls applied during manufacturing. To ensure a maximum level of safety, every thousandth disc is tested destructively. This disc features a depressed shape with grinding disc approval (shape 27).
