Thanks to the unique combination of two important product properties, the VSK VISION delivers major advantages for the surface finishing of stainless steel.It combines an alternating abrasive cloth and non-woven abrasive on one disc. This makes decorative surface finishing (non-woven abrasive) possible with simultaneous material abrasion (abrasive cloth) – saving the operator an entire process step. Optimum revolutions: 3,000–3,500 rpm
Machine suitability:
The combination flap disc (coated abrasive and non-woven material) with cut-outs is suitable for use on angle grinders from any performance class. Users are recommended to drop speeds to 3–4,000 rpm when using this product. This helps to maximise the tool life.
Material suitability:
The RHODIUS VSK F was specifically developed for processing stainless steel (e.g. V2A, 1.4301).
Structure and production:
The disc is manufactured to EN 13743, safety-tested and certified to oSa standards. The product features a fibre glass backing pad. Users can work at high contact pressure with this product. The VSK F flap disc offers a powerful combination of abrasive cloth and non-woven abrasive. The abrasive grain used in this product is high-quality zirconium. All RHODIUS flap discs are also iron- and sulphur-free. The flaps on this disc use a conical arrangement. The conical 10° layout used for the flaps here improves ergonomics during grinding and therefore makes tool handling easier.
