Machine suitability:
The RHODIUS VLS V self fastening disc is designed for use on a compatible angle grinder (shape CK 00). However, to ensure perfect working results and a long lifetime, the speed should be reduced down to 30 to 40 m/s. The tool offers especially high performance when used with the RHODIUS RH V backing pad.
Material suitability:
The product has been designed especially for processing stainless steel (SST, Inox), e.g. 1.4031 (X5CrNi18-10 or 304), steel (carbon steel – also termed structural steel, St37, S235JR or 1.0037) and cast steel. Users will also achieve very good results with the RHODIUS VLS V when working on wood, paint and filler.
Structure and production:
This self fastening disc is made from a non-woven abrasive and a self fastening (tangled) non-woven material. The open structure ensures that the disc stays generally clog-free.
